Fresenius Dialysis

Our modern 6,000-square-foot facility is a cooperative effort between Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) and Friendship Retirement Community^®, the only long-term care facility in Southwest Virginia with dialysis treatment available on-site. It serves both Friendship residents and outpatients.

Friendship Retirement Community^® service includes Fresenius Dialysis for patients with kidney failure, focusing on special care needs of the elderly suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

Fresenius Medical Care North America is widely recognized for its leadership and innovation in kidney dialysis treatment and the development of innovative products for patients with kidney failure. Operating a network of more than 1,100 dialysis clinics in the United States, Fresenius Medical Care provides dialysis treatment to some 75,000 patients with kidney failure.
